California Licensed Mechanical Engineer

Serving as the principal technical authority, the full-time California Licensed Mechanical Engineer will manage the thermodynamic design of Combined Cycle Power Plants and heavy CHP installations while ensuring compliance with codes and standards in a hybrid work environment. Key responsibilities Own the thermodynamic design and configuration of Combined Cycle Power Plants and heavy CHP installations Direct the mechanical layout, material selection, and advanced stress analysis for high-energy piping systems Engineer mechanical and fuel-delivery systems for plant isolation and grid restoration processes Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience 12 years of deep technical design experience within power generation utilities or midstream gas transmission infrastructure 12 years of engineering experience with aeroderivative and gas turbines, multi-stage steam turbines, and Heat Recovery Steam Generators 12 years of experience designing natural gas pipelines Registered Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
