Service Technician – Central Valley
Pay: $25–$32/hr (DOE)
Schedule: 9/80 (7:00 AM–5:00 PM, every other Friday off)
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Field Service Technician who thrives in a collaborative work culture and values a rewarding career. If you have a positive, customer‐focused mindset and at least 3 years of field service experience, we’d love to connect with you!
What You’ll Do
- Travel to client sites throughout the Greater Central Valley to support new start‐ups, preventative maintenance, and customer service for automated sorting machines.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for electrical power circuits, PLC circuits, and digital/analog systems.
- Perform testing of new equipment installations and ensure proper functionality.
- Read schematics and use test equipment such as voltmeters.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and in person.
- Travel to other Western states as needed (15–20% with overnight stays).
Key Requirements
- 2 years of college or equivalent in an electronics‐based curriculum.
- Valid driver’s license and clean DMV record.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with electrical, PLC, and circuit systems.
- Knowledge of computer hardware and configurations.
- Ability to travel and stay overnight when required.
Physical Requirements
- Frequent standing, bending, stooping, crawling, and climbing ladders.
- Ability to work in elevated places.
- Occasionally lift, push, or pull 40 lbs. or more.
