Job Summary And Qualifications CT Technologist (PRN). Florida licensed. Duties include: Select technical factors, perform and complete diagnostic CT examinations accurately, caring, compassionate, respectful. Possess thorough knowledge of CT scanner, pressure injector, resuscitation equipment, laser filmer, teleradiology system. Assist in contrast media administration. Prepare, transfer, position patients ensuring modesty and safe use of equipment. Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtain informed consent, complete MEDITECH fields accurately. Obtain high-quality CT images, ensuring optimal images for interpretation. Remain proficient in software protocols; stay updated with changes via in-service study, courses, seminars. Maintain proactive communication with patients and colleagues including radiologist. Check equipment operation, maintain cleanliness of table/equipment, prevent cross-contamination, keep room stocked. Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as needed. For roles in our free-standing ER, proficiency in both X-Ray and CT is required. Qualifications Completion of a 24‑month Radiologic Technology program at an accredited AMA‑approved institution. Valid ARRT (CT) certification. Clear/active Florida Department of Health licensure (CRT). Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Ability to perform work requiring frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs. Minimum of 1–3 years current/recent experience in diagnostic radiology, preferably in an acute‑care hospital setting.
