Retail Sales Professional Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Professional.

This is an exciting inside sales position selling flooring to retail customers with tremendous growth potential. You'll be responsible for interacting with customers, providing product advice, and assisting with sales decisions.

Duties and Expectations

• Develop a deep understanding of our wide selection of floors, including benefits and warranties
• Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for every interaction
• Sell flooring and floor care products, working closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences
• Write sales orders accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support a positive team environment
• Build strong relationships with clients, following up on requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner
• Utilize computer databases to research merchandise availability and process orders
• Maintain a clean and organized showroom, showcasing our products in the best possible light
• Prospect for new business opportunities, expanding our customer base and driving sales growth

The ideal candidate must be:

• Able to effectively communicate and possess basic math skills
• Willing to undergo our extensive product and sales training to become a certified flooring and design expert
• Reliable and a self-starter
• Personally well-organized
• Able to provide outstanding customer service and follow up
• Able to effectively communicate and possess basic math skills

Some additional qualifications include:

• A clean driving record
• A passion for, or experience with, decorating or design
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office programs and a willingness to learn our operating systems
• Retail sales experience strongly preferred
• Open and flexible work availability, including Saturdays
• Must have access to reliable transportation in order to get to work

This is a full time position. 40 hours per week

• Monday through Friday, plus alternating Saturdays. If working Saturday, the associate will have off one day during the week. (Closed on Sundays.)
• Salary: Commensurate with experience
