As a Seasonal De-Icing Technician, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and on-time departure of aircraft during winter conditions. Our technicians choose their shifts based on availability, making this role ideal for students, retirees, or anyone with a variable schedule. Key Responsibilities Safely operate de-icing trucks and equipment near aircraft under winter conditions Apply aircraft anti-icing/de-icing fluids in accordance with procedures and safety protocols Communicate with ground crew, flight crew, and dispatchers Follow airport regulations, security procedures, and safety guidelines Complete required logs and reports after each operation What You Bring Must be available for shift work, including nights, weekends, and holidays Comfortable working outdoors in extreme weather conditions Valid driver’s license required (airside license preferred or must be obtained upon hiring) Able to pass security clearance for airport operations (RAIC, SIDA, or equivalent) Prior experience in aviation, heavy equipment, or seasonal work is an asset Why Join Aeromag Competitive hourly wage ($23.50) Paid training and certification provided Flexible scheduling – choose your shifts based on your availability Ideal for those seeking extra income during the winter season Opportunities to return seasonally or grow into year-round roles Be part of a team that makes a direct impact on air travel safety Flight Benefits depending on hours worked Only selected candidates will be contacted for interviews.
