Pharmacy Technician

Valeo Resources has partnered with a national pharmacy management organization in Pittsburgh, PA. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Pharmacy Technicians to join the team on Penn Ave in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be working with the LGBTQIA+ and HIV community in a Ryan White funded pharmacy to provide medications for those who are struggling.

Location: East Liberty (Pittsburgh, PA 15206)

Schedule: M-F, day shifts (Full time - W2)

Responsibilities:

Dispense and fill prescriptions
Customer service and checking out patients with medications
Data entry and insurance verifications
Ensuring that the person picking up the prescription is the person the prescription is intended for
Quality Assurance

Requirements:

Bachelors Degree required
Must have pharmacy experience in retail (CVS, Walgreen, Giant Eagle, etc.)
Must be a strong tech and must have a pharm tech number or CPhT/PTCB
