Job Title: Level 2 RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Neuromusculoskeletal Duration: 17 weeks Shift: Rotating shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum two (2) years of nursing experience required License: RN License (New York) Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry experience required Description: An exciting opportunity awaits as you start your career on a specialized neurological unit. This is an excellent unit to learn about various neurological diseases while utilizing your nursing and critical thinking skills. Work with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced environment caring for patients with stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Guillain-Barre syndrome, and more. As a Level 4 Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, a specialty team evaluates, diagnoses, and treats seizures using state-of-the-art continuous video EEG technology. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team that values nursing skills, talents, and compassion for the patient population.
