Must-Have: Experience with dysphagia, strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal communication skills, and proficiency with documentation systems.


Description:
This is an inpatient pediatric speech therapy position within a NICU setting.
The role involves assessing and providing intervention to guide feeding plans for preterm and medically complex infants.
All care is delivered using neuro-protective, trauma-informed care, and a family-centered model.
Documentation is completed using an electronic charting system.
The ideal candidate must have experience focusing heavily on feeding and dysphagia in the NICU.
Candidates should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, along with being detail-oriented.
Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.
The position operates on a day shift, typically from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Floating to other departments is unlikely, but experience with pediatric intensive care may be an option.
The unit consists of 65 beds, and the nurse-to-patient ratio is maintained according to staffing guidelines.
Dress code is scrubs or business casual.
