Electrical Project Manager

Job Description

About Ready Power

\n

\n

Here's something you won't hear very often: We haven't turned down a single request for time off in two years. Not one. While other companies talk about work-life balance, we actually live it because we treat employees like people whose families and interests matter, not production numbers.

\n

\n

We're not an electrical contractor who dabbles in generators — backup power is all we do, and we've been the Gulf South's go-to specialist since 2009 with over 850 five-star reviews to prove it. Small team, founders still hands-on, and it's a true meritocracy where good work gets noticed immediately.

About This Position

\n

\n

You'll manage substantial commercial backup power projects from bid stage through completion — these are already funded installations, not prospects you need to chase . As the face of Ready Power at pre-bid meetings and the direct liaison between ownership and municipal/facility owners, you'll oversee structural foundations, electrical work, gas fitting, and miscellaneous construction while problem-solving unexpected issues with utilities and inspections. Everything's handled internally with real-time technical support from our in-house review department, so you're never left hanging on complex problems. Travel is primarily local with occasional out-of-state projects to Texas, and we respect your time with reasonable scheduling.

\n
• Heavy trade skills knowledge including electrical, structural, and mechanical components
\n
• Professional representation skills for client meetings and pre-bid presentations
\n

What's In It For You

\n

\n
• Competitive base salary with project outcome-based incentives
\n
• Company vehicle, gas, and equipment provided
\n
• Comprehensive benefits package and generous PTO policy (time-off requests don't get denied)

\n
• Specialization in essential infrastructure with consistent municipal and commercial demand
