High School English Teacher (2026‑27 Opportunity) Match Charter Public School is a free, high‑performing charter public school in Boston. We serve up to 1,250 students and offer a comprehensive benefits package, including 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance. Location and Start Date Brighton Campus, 1001 Commonwealth Ave., Boston, MA. Start date: August 2026. Compensation Base salary ranges from $61,812 to $97,899, depending on prior teaching experience. Responsibilities Teach four high‑school English classes. Develop daily lessons aligned with Match’s English curriculum in collaboration with department colleagues and leadership team members. Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations for students and provide support to help students meet those expectations. Participate actively in coaching and professional development programming. Assist with school programming during non‑instructional time. Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community. Qualifications At least two years of full‑time classroom or special education teaching experience, preferably in an urban setting. Valid and appropriate Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education license, or meet licensure requirements within one year of hire. Belief that all students can and will succeed. Desire to continually improve teaching practice by taking and implementing feedback. Proven record of student success and achievement. Ability to work well on a team and support others.
