Lab Specimen Accessioner

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor to prepare laboratory specimens for testing and analysis in a high-volume diagnostics setting. The role involves specimen handling, labeling, data entry, and shipping in a fast-paced environment with evening and weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Unpack and route specimens to appropriate staging areas
Accurately identify, label, and pack specimens for shipment
Enter patient information in system accurately and timely
Resolve and document problem specimens

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Comfortable handling biological specimens
Strong data entry and organizational skills
Ability to accurately identify specimens
Experience with MS Office
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Ability to pass standardized colorblindness test
