Junior Program Analyst

Job Summary Our enterprise global client has an immediate opening for a Program Analyst with advanced Excel skills and project coordination experience. Long Term Contract location: Bridgewater, New Jersey job type: Contract salary: $35 - 40 per hour work hours: 9am to 5pm education: Bachelors Corporate Procurement Operations Inbox Management: Monitor the inbox, processing 5-10 incoming requests and daily. Escalations & Support: Filter and direct incoming inquiries appropriately to the internal Travel Management or IT support teams. Invoice Processing: Handle travel-related invoices in Oracle AP, utilizing specialized enterprise finance tools. Procurement & Reporting Unused Ticket Tracking: Maintain annual spreadsheets to track unused airline tickets. Reconcile monthly reports against prior months to analyze ticket usage. Pivot Table Summaries: Generate monthly summary reports using pivot tables to analyze non-refundable versus new ticket volumes. Vendor & Diversity Spend: Track global vendor and supplier procurement metrics, focusing on quarterly diversity spend. Database Management: Process quarterly earnings data on spreadsheets and upload updates into the central database. Key Responsibilities Work closely with Procurement and the Global Travel team with operational tasks and reporting. Collaborating globally with employees and the Travel Management Company to optimize travel procedures. Ensure the travel booking system operates smoothly, working closely with the IT team for ease of use and functionality. Analyze travel data to identify trends, savings opportunities, and areas for improvement; prepare and present regular reports on travel expenses, bookings, and savings; track and report on travel-related KPIs such as cost per trip, booking volume, and vendor performance. Evaluate vendor performance regularly, recommending changes or improvements to vendor contracts. Provide guidance and support to employees regarding travel bookings, policies, and best practices; conduct training sessions on travel tools, platforms, and policies; serve as the primary point of contact for travel-related issues or emergencies, providing necessary emergency communications to affected travelers. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 2 to 5 years of corporate experience with solid Excel and Office skills, including v look ups and pivot tables Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), as the role involves communicating with senior managers Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and reporting. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
