As a Director, Communications Planning, you will support the team in increasing customer acquisition and retention, generate engagement through multi-channel marketing campaigns, and foster recognition of loyalty benefits. On the Global Marketing team reporting to the Senior Director, Content Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in fueling Hilton's growth by maximizing marketing's contribution to enterprise performance. Through bold campaigns, breakthrough digital strategies, and innovative technologies, we inspire customers, drive them to Hilton's digital storefronts, and convert them into engaged Hilton Honors members.What you'll do during a typical day:Own and improve the strategic implementation of campaigns, initiatives, and always-on programs across the ecosystem through communication planning across the yearDevelop deep consumer understanding to shape upstream how, where, and when our ideas can be applied to the greatest effectUnderstand the possibilities inherent in different channels, media, and platforms – and having the skill to exploit theseDevelop customer journeys and ecosystem mapping across all key campaigns and initiativesWork closely with key stakeholders of other disciplines, and training and upskilling the team in comms planningCollaborate with Hilton's creative team and agency partners to show how they can amplify their ideas in different channels and platforms – so that they make the ideas live longer in the mind than the media planFoster strong relationships across creative and media teams, acting as another crucial bridgeHow you'll collaborate with others:Work closely with Global Media, Creative, Brand Strategy, Loyalty, CRM, and PR teamsTranslate strategy into communication frameworksPartner cross-functionally within a highly matrixed organizationEnsure campaigns and initiatives align with consumer needs and enterprise business outcomesProjects you'll take ownership of:Develop comprehensive communications plans and message frameworks against key campaigns and initiativesDevelop the overarching go-to-market calendar that spans all campaigns, initiatives, and always-on programsCreate communications planning tools, templates, and frameworks for teams and partners to work tooLead and develop a communications planning teamWhat It Takes to Make the StayYou have these minimum qualifications:Ten (10) years of professional experienceEight (8) years of campaign communications planningFive (5) years of experience in cross-channel marketing, content marketing, or related rolesThree (3) years of experience managing teams and partnering cross-functionallyExperience leveraging and understanding of modern, customer-centric marketing, including media, creative, content, and campaign strategyIt would be useful if you have:Experience in an agency environment leading communications planning for large, globally relevant brandsExperience in hospitality, travel, consumer services, or related industries within large, global consumer brandsDeep understanding of customer journeys and different channels, media, and platformsProven experience to develop talent and build teamsJoin an Award-Winning Workplace Culture At Hilton, we don’t just deliver exceptional experiences for our guests—we build an exceptional workplace for the Team Members who make it all possible.
