Live 2 B Healthy is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic person to be a substitute instructor at our fitness classes at senior living communities in Sioux Falls, SD.

Our classes are designed specifically for older adults and focus on strength, balance, flexibility, mobility, endurance, and fall prevention . Classes are fun, supportive, and non-strenuous, with simple exercises, stretching, and cool-down activities.

What you'll do

Lead 30–45 minute senior fitness and wellness classes
Work with groups of older adults in a positive, encouraging environment
Demonstrate simple exercises and modifications as needed
Help participants improve strength, balance, flexibility, and confidence
Create an atmosphere where participants feel comfortable, supported, and successful

Schedule

As needed basis, cover for vacations, sick days, etc.
Flexible opportunity

We're looking for someone who is:

Reliable and dependable
Friendly, outgoing, and comfortable interacting with older adults
Positive and encouraging
Comfortable leading a small group
Able to pass a criminal background check

These are preferred but not required :

CPR/AED certification
Experience in fitness or exercise
Nursing, healthcare, therapy, or other health-related experience
Experience working with older adults or seniors
Group instruction or coaching experience

No fitness experience? That's okay!

We would be willing to train the right person!
We provide training and support to help you feel confident leading our program.
