Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Cincinnati, OH as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials when indicated, and operate CT equipment to produce diagnostic images. You will prepare patients for procedures, complete required documentation, and collaborate with clinical staff to support efficient, high-quality patient care.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years CT technologist experience.
• Completion of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT (Computed Tomography or Radiography) certification.
• Current BLS certification.
• Demonstrated ability to administer IV contrast media and follow contrast safety protocols.
• Experience performing diagnostic CT exams and reconstructions per radiologist protocols.
• Experience working in an acute care hospital environment preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with portable and C-arm radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment preferred.
• Prior experience scheduling exams and managing imaging workflow preferred.
• Familiarity with recognizing and troubleshooting basic mechanical and electronic equipment issues preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift pattern: Weekend 3x8.

Provide essential imaging services that support diagnosis and treatment. You will collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and floor staff to ensure timely exams and clear communication. Your role will include patient preparation, safe patient transfer, supply management, and participation in required in-services and orientations.
