JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Department: Nursing Surgical Unit MOSH

Shift Timings : 19:00-07:30 Hours (Monday to Friday) 3 days 12 hour shift

Per Week : 36 Hours

Every 3rd Weekend; EOH; Telemetry, Acute care experience required, orthopedic experience preferred; may need to float to other sites within a 40 mile radius

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Telemetry experience.
• One year of Emergency Room RN experience
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered Wisconsin RN state license
• One year of Cerner experience

Requirements
• COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
