DELIVERY DRIVER

Delivery DriverThe Delivery Driver will deliver food from the restaurant location to the customer's location.Duties/Responsibilities:Plans and completes an efficient delivery route for the day.Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery.Delivers food to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary.Picks up food items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested.Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.Ensures that delivery vehicles receive basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.Assists in general duties when delivery route is completed.Performs other related duties as assigned.Able to read tickets and properly assemble a delivery order.Required Skills/Abilities:Ability to drive safely.Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps.Ability to plan delivery routes.Ability to maintain basic logs and records.Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision.Able to always remain professional and courteous.Must have valid car insuranceAbility to count money and give change to customerBasset certificateEducation and Experience:Valid Class C, driver's license and clean driving record.Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.Must be able to load and unload packages in various types of weather.Must be able to climb stairs.Must be able to stand and walk for 8 hours.Benefits:Benefits include paid time off.
