Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on metal components and assemblies in a high-volume production setting
• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate fabrication
• Set up and operate MIG welding equipment, adjusting settings for material type and thickness
• Inspect completed welds for quality, consistency, and adherence to specifications
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output and quality goals
• Identify and report equipment issues or weld defects to supervisors promptly

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a MIG welder in a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to read blueprints, weld symbols, and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, metal properties, and joint preparation
• Ability to meet production quotas while maintaining high-quality weld standards
• Familiarity with safety protocols, PPE requirements, and OSHA standards
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy materials, and work in varying conditions
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a strong team player
