Job Duties include:
- Explaining balances after insurance payment- Co-pays, Co-Insurance, Deductibles
- Explaining hospital's financial policies regarding repayment of outstanding balances
- Screening patients requesting consideration for charity services
- Work closely with internal and external departments (Admitting/Registration/Collection Agencies) to maximize prompt repayment of outstanding balances.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills
- Strong Understanding of Medical Insurances, Medical Billing
- Prior collection or financial counseling experience preferred
- Strong computer skills, use of medical systems, spreadsheets preferred
- High School diploma required, continuing education or experience preferred
- Unlimited Referral Bonus (When someone you refer works 40 hours you get $40, When they work 100 hours you get $100)
- Medical Insurance after 60 days on assignment.
- Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card.
