Power BI Developer

Data Visualization SpecialistClient is seeking a talented and experienced Data Visualization Specialist who specializes in using the Power BI toolset to transform data into compelling visualizations. The ideal candidate will have expertise in extracting data from various sources, including Excel and SharePoint, and using Power BI to create interactive reports and dashboards. Additionally, experience in Performance Management is highly desired, as you will play a crucial role in helping visualize and analyze performance metrics.Key Responsibilities:Data Extraction and Transformation:Extract data from diverse sources, including Excel spreadsheets and SharePoint lists.Perform data cleansing, transformation, and integration to ensure data accuracy.Analyze data and provide guidance to stakeholders regarding data quality, design and availability.Power BI Reporting and Visualization:Develop interactive and visually appealing reports and dashboards using Power BI.Utilize Power BI features to create dynamic and user-friendly data visualizations.Implement custom calculations and measures as needed for performance analysis.Collaborate with business users to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments.Documentation and Training:Follow best practices regarding design and Power BI suggested uses.Create documentation and user guides for Power BI solutions.Provide training and support to end-users as needed.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Intelligence).Proven experience in data visualization using the Power BI toolset. Certification desired.Proficiency in data extraction from Excel and SharePoint.Familiarity with data modeling and DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) is a plus.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in Performance Management or related fields is highly desired.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
