Pharmacist

Specialty Medical Staffing is currently seeking a pharmacist for a short-term inpatient hospital coverage assignment in the Monticello, KY area. This role will support pharmacy operations in a critical access hospital setting including order entry, IV preparation, automation support, and medication dispensing.

Assignment Details

Training: May 15 | 7:30am 4:00pm plus on-call

Coverage: May 1617 | On-call only

Coverage: May 1819 | 7:30am 4:00pm plus on-call

On-call extends until 7:30am on May 20

Weekend coverage: On-call only

Requirements

Active Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing

Inpatient hospital experience required

Experience with order entry, IV mixing, and automation

MEDHOST experience preferred

Omnicell experience preferred

Responsibilities

Order entry and medication verification
IV preparation and medication dispensing
Automation management and Omnicell support
Clinical support for medical staff

Additional Information

Critical access hospital setting
Pharmacy team includes Director of Pharmacy and staff pharmacist
Dress code: Business casual
