Senior Analyst - Tax Accounting

Responsibilities Prepare and review international tax provisions and return‑to‑provision analysis in our tax provision software (Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Provision) in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 740). Collaborate with external auditors to provide documentation and support throughout the company’s quarterly and annual audit of the income tax provision. Prepare quarterly entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP and reconcile management figures with U.S. GAAP reporting. Coordinate deliverables from tax groups, including Tax Resolutions, Forecasting & Analysis, Federal & State, and Global Structuring teams, as well as Corporate Accounting and foreign sites. Serve as the main point of contact for income tax‑related questions from foreign sites and outside service providers. Maintain monthly income tax account reconciliations and propose journal entries. Support the execution of SOX 404 internal controls and testing. Collaborate cross‑functionally with subject‑matter experts to identify and document uncertain tax positions. Ensure reserves are accurately reconciled within our tax provision software and appropriately disclosed in the financial statements. Assist the Senior Tax Manager, Acquisitions and Integrations with entry of purchase accounting adjustments into the tax provision software and documentation of deferred tax balances. Research U.S. GAAP accounting issues and document findings in internal memo format; report conclusions to management. Assist with income tax accounting for special projects such as business combinations and divestitures. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to suggest and implement process improvements that reduce cycle time and leverage technology. Qualifications BS Degree in accounting. 4+ years of related experience in public accounting combined with a large multinational corporate tax environment. Working knowledge of ASC 740 principles and U.S. GAAP accounting. Ability to work in a dynamic environment, adhere to tight deadlines, exhibit strong attention to detail, problem‑solve, and manage multiple priorities. Thrives in an environment where independent work is valued while collaborating regularly with team members. Strong analytical, technical, written and verbal communication skills, and an eagerness to learn. Excellent technology skills, including proficiency with Excel and Office365. Preferred Qualifications CPA and/or master’s in taxation. Experience with tax software applications such as Thomson Reuters ONESOURCE Tax Provision and various online research tools. Experience with SAP, HFM and SmartView or other large ERP systems. Compensation Minimum Salary: $89,200 Maximum Salary: $169,500 Variable compensation may include an annual bonus target and long‑term incentives per plan eligibility. Compensation will be commensurate with experience, education, and other factors. Work Arrangements Three‑day hybrid work environment.
