Pay Rate: $23.06 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, visitor concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of galleries, exhibit areas, public spaces, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with visitor screening protocols, directional support, and access control practices based on location requirements.
• Support preservation-focused operations by observing for prohibited behavior near exhibits and/or restricted areas, addressing concerns with professionalism, and escalating security-related matters when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
