Exciting Opportunity for Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I!

Job Description:


- Embark on a rewarding career in Advanced Medical Imaging as a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist I (MRI Tech I)


- Provide essential health care services by aiding in diagnosis and treatment


- Perform cutting-edge MRI procedures and related techniques


- Operate a magnetic resonance scanner to capture high-quality images that assist in patient care


- Utilize knowledge of imaging techniques and cross-sectional anatomy to enhance image quality and minimize exposure


- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff during exams and procedures


- Ensure seamless distribution, billing, and archival of images and procedures


- Maintain accurate documentation required for proper interpretation and reporting


- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on the MRI scanner while archiving imaging data


- Participate in implementing and improving hospital quality indicators as described in the strategic plan


Minimum Qualifications:


- Graduate of a CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent


- ARRT Certification and MRI Technician certification


- Current BLS Certification by the American Heart Association


- Previous MRI experience is essential

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


- Demonstrate sound judgment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times


- Ability to thrive in a busy and stressful environment with minimal supervision


- Creativity and strong decision-making skills


- Exercise confidentiality and sensitivity in all interactions


- Proficient in computer applications, including MS Office and EMR


- Self-directed with a strong commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in assignments

Schedule Requirements:


- Full-time position with a 4 x 10 schedule, Monday through Friday


- Flexibility in shift times, starting as early as 6:00 a.m.


- On-call work may be required to respond to organizational, patient, or employee needs
