Human Resources GeneralistThe Human Resources Generalist will leverage solid experience with HR procedures to effectively manage a range of administrative tasks. Serving as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners, this role will implement human resources programs that encompass recruiting and staffing, administration of compensation and benefits programs, training and development, employee relations, and affirmative action/equal employment opportunity compliance. Ensuring compliance with applicable labor laws and regulations is a key responsibility.ResponsibilitiesProcess bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Calculate hours from various timekeeping schedules.Manage the administration of employee benefit programs, including health, dental, life, and 401(k).Conduct biweekly 401(k) funding and monthly benefits bill reconciliation.Handle Worker's Compensation claims, including filing and follow-up.Assist with data gathering for special projects, such as budget processes and corporate reporting.Manage the annual open enrollment process.Administer the annual performance review process.Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding.Foster positive employee relations and handle recruitment activities.Provide guidance on HR processes and policies to managers and employees.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3-4 years of experience in Human Resources and Payroll.Proficiency in payroll processing, particularly with ADP Workforce Now.Strong capabilities in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas.Experience in the manufacturing industry.Recruitment experience.Knowledge of labor laws.Strong communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPHR or SHRM certification is preferred.Experience with full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing and screening candidates, is a plus.Work Environment: Fully onsiteJob Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Champlin, MN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $82000.00/yr.
