Only AZ candidates are considered for this role.Job DescriptionThe SSIS Developer will provide support on projects including designing, building, and maintaining metadata models and complex ETL packages and OLAP cubes. This position is responsible for data reporting, converting customer requests into technical details, and ensuring deliverable commitments are met. This position works with clients and leadership at various levels within the organization to research and identify operational business requirements with sufficient detail and clarity to allow the development of the data or reporting solutions needed. This role requires a broad range of skills and the ability to step in to different roles depending on the size and scope of the project. The candidate should have proven experience developing successful Business Intelligence solutions using the Microsoft BI stack.-Develops advanced BI applications using the MS BI stack including SSAS, SSIS, T-SQL/stored procedures as well as MDX-Analyzes and improves existing dashboards, reports and reporting systems-Assists in designing extensions to our Data Warehouse systems-Designs and develops Business Intelligence solutions using multidimensional cubes including MOLAP and ROLAP-Provides training and expertise to business users and other stakeholders on utilizing SSAS cubes for their reporting needs-Works closely with the Data Architecture team and provides technical design recommendations on the data mart structures which support analytical applications-Provides and owns the technical details for implementation and maturing of BI solutions-Designs functional specs for BI front end applications including dash boards and reporting, considering appropriate data flow and capture-Works with business users and other stakeholders to understand business processes, and translates them into functional and non-functional specifications for BI solutions-Identifies problem trends and corrective actions and documenting these through modification of existing best practices guidelines-Provides expertise and guidance to other developers in the use of the toolsetQualificationsBS Degree CS or MIS or equivalent experience in related roles5+ years of experience delivering solutions utilizing the entire Microsoft BI stack (SSAS, SSIS)5+ years of experience with SQL Server/T-SQL programming in creation and optimization of stored procedures, triggers and user defined functions5+ years of Microsoft SQL Server database development (TSQL) experience5+ years of experience working in a data warehouse environment and a strong understanding of dimensional data modeling conceptsMust be able to build Business Intelligence solutions in a collaborative, agile development environmentStrong exposure to OLAP systemsKnowledge of current Microsoft .NET technologies including C#, VB.NET, ASP.Net, and SharePoint highly desiredWorking knowledge of Team Foundation Services 2012Working knowledge of Share Point 2010 and Performance PointDemonstrated ability to use discretion and make sound decisionsAbility to excel in a collaborative and distributed team environmentAbility to work with a minimal amount of direction while being pro-active in keeping their management informed of project related issuesAbility to work under pressureAbility to respectfully question ideas and share a point of view with others in support of the business requirements and needsAbility to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadershipAbility to manage multiple projects at the same time and shift priorities quicklyExperience working on an Agile/Scrum team preferredProven strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting, and root cause analysisExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong aspiration to learn new technologiesProven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business usersAbility to maintain confidentialityExperience in the education industAdditional Information- "All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines". - All candidates who are authorized to work in US are encouraged to apply.- Most of our positions require Candidate to clear the Background check prior to commencing the assignment.SOURCER ASSIGNED: Pete Tylor; Email: pete dot tylor at idealforce.comDisclaimer:The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
