Mechanical Assembler - 1st ShiftWe are looking for Mechanical Assemblers to join our team on 1st Shift. This position will be based in Buffalo Grove, IL. Shift Hours: 6:00am - 2:30pm Hourly Rate: $18.38You'll win us over by having the following qualifications: Basic Qualifications: Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting/moving materials up to 25 pounds throughout the workday. Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English, including assembly, testing, safety, and equipment documentation Ability to assemble and adjust products in accordance with established work instructions, specifications, and quality standards. Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalent Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or industrial work experience.You will make a difference by: Manufacturing products by following visual aids, work instructions, established procedures, and verbal directions. Operating hand, pneumatic, and power tools, as well as small and large production equipment, material handling devices, and computer-controlled machinery. Moving materials and components as needed to support production requirements and maintain efficient material flow. Rotating between workstations, work cells, and departments to support operational needs and production schedules. Completing and maintaining required production, quality, and departmental records. Identifying and reporting process, equipment, or quality issues to appropriate personnel. Performing product, equipment, and process setups, adjustments, and changeovers in accordance with established procedures.
