Manufacturing Estimating Analyst

Overview JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Estimating Analyst PAY RANGE: $28 - $33 | SHIFT: 1st M-F 8am - 5pm | TYPE: Onsite Quick Summary This is a technical sales support role focused on converting customer requirements into executable manufacturing solutions. You’ll own the quoting process, collaborate cross-functionally, and play a key role in winning new business. This role is ideal for someone with manufacturing estimating or quoting experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment who understands how parts are made — not just how they’re priced. Key Responsibilities Review RFQs, blueprints, CAD files, BOMs and customer requirements Analyze manufacturability, cycle time and production feasibility Generate accurate quotes and pricing for high-mix, low-volume production work Interpret blueprints with GD&T, CAD models, and specifications Manage multiple RFQ's simultaneously in a deadline driven environment Collaborate with sourcing, engineering, quality and business development teams Identify upsell and cross-capability opportunities Requirements Degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Design, or related field and/or equivalent work experience required 3–5 years in estimating, inside sales, or technical customer support Strong blueprint reading with GD&T and manufacturing knowledge Salesforce experience Ability to balance speed, accuracy, and customer experience Familiar with CNC machining, sheet metal or related manufacturing services Experience working with RFQs and fast turnaround quoting Preferred Qualifications QuickBooks MIE Track ERP/MRP experience Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks Experience supporting aerospace, medical, defense, automotive, industrial or semiconductor customers What Prototek Offers Health, dental, vision, life and short-term disability insurance Company paid life and long-term disability insurance 9 paid Holidays annually Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 401(k) match: 100% of 3% and 50% for 4% and 5% Education reimbursement program Career advancement opportunities Flexible Schedule Competitive pay scale Paid time off (PTO) starting at 80 hours with annual increase for each year of service Work Authorization Must meet ITAR U.S. Person requirements – Prototek maintains International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliant operations in United States based facilities.
