Maintenance Technician

Ensure that all equipment is operating effectively and efficiently, including preventative maintenance, overhauls, modification, fabrication, welding, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting. Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment in compliance with all safety procedures Support the installation of new equipment, support and implementation of preventive maintenance program Assist the machine operators with training or troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime Ensure all repairs are documented Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgment Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF) Work schedule includes on call and weekend shifts An Equal Opportunity Employer including Disabled/Veterans Education and Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 4 years of process manufacturing environment maintenance work experience Certification and/or License – 2 year formal mechanical education certificate preferred Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr HOUSTON APARTMENT FOUNDATION
