About the Role:

Join ComForCare Home Health Care - Slidell as a Home Health Aide, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. Our compassionate team is dedicated to providing personalized care in a supportive environment, making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.

Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.

Monitor and report changes in client health status to the nursing staff.

Help clients with mobility and physical exercises.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.

Document care provided and client progress in compliance with company policies.

Support clients with medication reminders and adherence to care plans.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care delivery.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification preferred.

Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to follow care plans and work independently.

Compassionate demeanor and a passion for helping others.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
