UT Health East Texas retained POTTER ASSOCIATES LLC to conduct a national search for Physical Therapists, acute inpatient and outpatient rehab clinic opportunities. OUTPATIENT REHAB CLINIC - PHYISICAL THERAPIST UT Health East Rehabilitation Center - Outpatient Clinics THE ORGANIZATION UT Health East Rehabilitation Center is a specialty hospital with 48 inpatient beds in Tyler, TX. In addition, there are 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and 9 Olympic fitness centers located in the surrounding area. The Rehabilitation Center provides intensive inpatient and outpatient therapy for conditions like stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord issues, and limb loss, using a multidisciplinary team of doctors and therapists to create personalized plans for regaining independence with 24/7 nursing care in a structured environment. THE LOCATION(S) There are several outpatient clinic locations in and around Tyler, TX. There are also inpatient acute positions in the academic medical center with higher compensation than outpatient, $45-$48/hr. THE POSITION The Outpatient Physical Therapist will provide a full range of age-appropriate physical therapy services in a clinic setting including assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. The position reports to the Regional Director - Outpatient.
