Inventory Management Supervisor

: Job Title: Inventory Management Supervisor Location: Clarksville, TN Shift: 1st Join the Jostens leadership team! We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Supervisor who will be responsible for directing and overseeing the planning, forecasting, and purchasing of acceptable inventory levels and stores for plant manufacturing. The incumbent will work with a team to develop and manage inventory plans and study the production schedule to determine the levels of materials needed to complete production orders. This role will monitor reports to ensure materials are available to meet customer and internal demands, coordinating with appropriate internal supervisors and managers; and will make timely recommendations leading actions to ensure continuity of supply. The incumbent will work closely with multiple departments and employees at all levels, to assist in the overall achievement of operational goals in safety, quality, cost, delivery, organization, and positive work environment. They will continuously evaluate and improve overall processes, documenting inventory properly and communicating potential changes in the supply chain. This position will support and partner with continuous improvement and manufacturing engineers to drive process improvement and safety goals, as needed for the department. Additionally, this position may be asked to support other areas or departments as assigned by leadership. Qualifications: Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar, and/or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years minimum experience in Inventory Management, Materials Planning and/or Supply Chain.
• Management/Supervisory experience in a team-based environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members.
• Excellent MS Office experience, in particular Excel Skills, MS Access, ERP/MRP, and/or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent planning, forecasting, purchasing and organizational skills.
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred:

• Certification in Production & Inventory Management (CPIM), and/or Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
• Printing experience in a Yearbook and/or Commercial environment.
• Basic Knowledge of 5S Methodologies and Lean Manufacturing.
• Exposure and knowledge of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Forklift & Pallet Jack operation experience.
