FRONT DESK PATIENT COORDINATOR

Type: Full-time

Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist patients with scheduling appointments
• Manage the daily schedule to ensure efficiency and optimal patient flow
• Verify patient insurance benefits and assist with understanding coverage/treatment estimates
• Collect payments and process billing transactions accurately
• Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up on missed or unscheduled treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records and update information as needed
• Coordinate with clinical team to ensure seamless patient experience
• Assist with treatment plan presentation and financial arrangements
• Ensure front office area is clean, organized, and inviting
• Learn, understand and agree to maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards
• Adhere to uniform attire and basic personal hygiene standards
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous dental front desk or administrative experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and compassionate customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with dental software systems
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes (preferred but not required)
• Demonstrated ability to work well within a team

Compensation Range

• $18–$25 per hour (based on experience)

Work Schedule

• Monday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Tuesday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
• Wednesday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
• Thursday 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
• Friday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm
