Job Description Join a busy Emergency Room team in Mount Ayr, Iowa, for a 13-week travel assignment as an ER RN. Your role will involve providing patient care in a 4-bay ER with a trauma level of CAH. You’ll be working 12-hour days, covering a shift that includes every third weekend, with the opportunity to float to MedSurg when no ER patients are present. Experience in handling general ER cases, trauma, cardiac, and urgent care patients will help you thrive here. Familiarity with critical care drips, EMR systems, and rapid response to various emergencies is essential. You’ll collaborate with mid-level providers and paramedics, assisting with critical interventions like intubations and managing diverse patient diagnoses in a fast-paced environment. Experience in trauma and emergency procedures will make your transition seamless, and certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and PALS are required.
