Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Jump behind our custom compounds. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Installation, service and repair of mechanical equipment. Assist in training of entry level team members. Able to carry out assignments with minimum supervision. Understand and follow all safety procedures. Use electrical test equipment to test electrical circuits and equipment. Size and install conduit, wires, breakers, fuses, starters, motors and other electrical equipment in accordance with the National Electric Code. Troubleshoot AC and DC motors and motor drives. Understand PLC operations, troubleshooting and ladder logic diagrams. Perform equipment PMs and complete work order documentation using CMMS. Read & interpret documentation such as electrical schematics, manuals and technical bulletins. Operate a forklift, scissor lift and JLG. Plan and organize individual work. Perform work in a timely manner. Maintain good housekeeping throughout plant and shop. Work overtime on short notice and anytime needed. This requires occasional operation of a company truck/vehicle, valid driver’s license required. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: Associates Degree in Mechatronics or related field needed. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 2 + years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
