Compliance Coordinator – Consumer ProductsInterested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Coordinator to support product testing, supplier quality, and compliance programs for consumer products sold through major retailers including Walmart, Amazon, and other national accounts.This role will support products across categories including housewares, kitchen appliances, cookware, gadgets, and electronics by coordinating third-party testing, managing supplier documentation, tracking production quality requirements, and supporting issue resolution.The ideal candidate has experience working with consumer products, factories, product testing, or supplier quality and is comfortable communicating with overseas manufacturers and cross-functional teams.This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring products meet retailer requirements, pass testing, and launch successfully.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Testing & Quality ManagementCoordinate product testing with third-party laboratories (UL, SGS, Intertek, BV, etc.)Manage testing schedules for:New product launchesProduction testingAnnual testing requirementsProduct updates or changesPrepare test submissions, sample coordination, and required documentationMaintain testing trackers and proactively follow up on pending itemsCommunicate testing requirements and timelines with factories and overseas teamsFactory & Supplier Quality SupportWork directly with factories to:Collect required testing documentsConfirm sample readinessResolve testing delaysAddress quality concernsReview factory documentation including:Test reportsCertificationsProduct specificationsMaterial informationSupport supplier compliance and quality improvement initiativesTest Failure & Corrective Action SupportInvestigate product testing failures and quality issues with factoriesSupport root cause investigations and corrective actionsCoordinate:CAP (Corrective Action Plans)Product revisionsRe-testing approvalsFollow up with factories to ensure corrective actions are implementedProduct Documentation & Compliance SupportMaintain product compliance records, test reports, and certification filesSupport review of:Packaging informationWarning labelsUser manualsProduct claimsAssist teams in ensuring products meet retailer and regulatory requirements xhyhwjd Skills & Qualifications1–3 years of experience in consumer goods, housewares, kitchen products, or electronics preferredExperience communicating with overseas factories preferredStrong Excel and data management skillsStrong organization and follow-up skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailPreferred ExperienceExperience working with third-party testing laboratories:ULSGSIntertekBureau VeritasExperience with:Product safety testingRetail compliance requirementsFactory corrective actionsCAPA processesProduction sample reviewsFamiliarity with retailer requirements from:WalmartAmazonTargetOther major retailers
