The role supports the Capital Management Committee through gathering requests, evaluating projects, and providing alternatives and recommendations for capital funding approvals. Seeking an Engineer with financial modeling experience.Additional Information:Must be currently located in the same geographic location as the job or willing to relocate yourself - Required (not remote)Two possible locationsGA: 12380 Morris Rd, Alpharetta, GA 30005KY: 2425 Universal Way, Louisville, KY 40219Job Level: SupervisorWork Schedule: M-F, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Key Responsibilities Include:Creates business cases and collaborates with various functions and leads reviews with key stakeholders.Works with cross-functional teams to conduct feasibility studies and financial analyses (ROIC, IRR, Payback).Evaluates projects for procedural compliance and accuracy, while reviewing requirements and discrepancies with project owners.Submits and presents project alternatives and makes recommendations to the Capital Committee.Balances multiple projects to meet stakeholder goals and expectations.Monitor and track monthly capital expenditures, prepare and distribute reports, analyze data for trends and discrepancies, reconcile reports with budgets.Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, MBA, or related field - PreferredBilingual in Spanish and/or Portuguese - PreferredStrong analytical skills with attention to detail.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, expresses ideas clearly and concisely.Financial acumen and understanding of metrics such as NPV, ROIC, IRR, and Payback Period - RequiredAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (incl Add-ins program including Power Query) and Power BI - PreferredStrong understanding of data structures, algorithms and model evaluation.Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.Experience with emerging AI technologies to integrate AI systems into existing workflows.Employee Type: PermanentUPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
