Requirements Obtained or pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Plant Science, Biology, Horticulture Science, Environmental Science, or related field, or equivalent horticultural experience preferred. Responsibilities Scouting and Crop Monitoring Scout crops for insects, diseases, nutrient deficiencies, and mechanical issues. Record scouting observations and crop issues. Perform daily inspections and complete checklists of growing areas and equipment. Collect and input crop data for performance and quality monitoring. Cultivation Ensure health and quality of seedlings and transplants. Assist with cleaning and maintaining hydroponic systems. Follow safety procedures for chemical use. Maintain food safety logs related to horticulture operations. Assist production teams as needed.
