About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: AM 4 × 10 hr shifts Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred Must-Have: Level 1 trauma center experience Description: Minimum 3 years of experience required. Level 1 trauma center experience is essential. Cases seen include trauma, orthopedics, spine and neurology. Preferred qualifications include previous travel experience and familiarity with EPIC, SurgiCount and TECSYS. Candidates must have experience in general surgery, robotics (DaVinci & Mako Ortho), urology, ENT, neuro (including cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy), plastics (including abdominoplasty and breast augmentation), and GYN. Specialization in orthopedics required, including total knee replacements and total hip procedures (anterior and posterior approaches). Shifts are 40 hours, from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with 30% of the shifts running from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM based on departmental needs. Occasional weekend work may be necessary. Call responsibilities include 6 weekdays and 6 weekends within a 6-week work schedule.
