We are backed by legendary VCs and industry experts like Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue.Grow With UsWe are looking for a highly customer-obsessed, strategic, and execution-driven Product Manager to own key product areas across Workstream's platform.You'll own your product area end-to-end — defining its strategy, roadmap, and long-term vision. From customer discovery and hypothesis development through execution, iteration, and measurable business outcomes, you'll shape the product narrative, set north-star metrics, and drive the investments that improve how hourly businesses hire, manage, and retain their workforce.This role is built for someone who thrives in fast-paced startup environments, genuinely enjoys spending time with customers, and pairs sharp strategic thinking with relentless execution. You'll partner closely with Engineering, Design, Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, and Leadership to surface opportunities, prioritize ruthlessly, and ship products that move the needle.This is a full-time, hybrid position with 1 to 3 days a week in-office to support close cross-functional collaboration.Day In The LifeOwn product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a core Workstream product areaDefine product vision, north star metrics, and success criteria aligned with company prioritiesSpend significant time with customers, users, and customer-facing teams to identify patterns, pain points, and emerging market opportunitiesPartner closely with Sales, Customer Success, Business Development, and Operations to gather business requirements and translate them into scalable product solutionsBuild and manage relationships with strategic external partners (e.g. job boards, integrations, ecosystem partners) and continuously improve product capabilities through these partnershipsConduct market, competitive, and customer research to develop and validate product hypothesesTake a hypothesis-driven, experimentation-first approach to product discovery and iterationWrite detailed product specifications, user stories, and UX requirements that enable high-quality executionCollaborate closely with Engineering and Design teams to ship products quickly while balancing speed, quality, and long-term scalabilityBe highly resourceful and pragmatic in solving customer problems—whether through automation, integrations, operational workflows, or lightweight solutionsDrive alignment across Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, and executive stakeholdersPresent product strategy, roadmap progress, and business impact across all levels of the organizationWho You Are5 to 7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally in SaaS, growth, marketplace, or startup environmentsExperience utilizing AI to make you and your team more effectiveUnderstanding of AI landscape and toolsExperience working in a fast-paced, scaling startup (typically <500 employees) or demonstrated ability to thrive in high-growth environmentsProven track record of owning product initiatives from concept through launch (0?1) and iteration (1?N), incorporating both Go To Market and PLG motionsStrong customer empathy and genuine enthusiasm for talking directly with usersExcellent analytical, strategic, and hypothesis-driven problem-solving skillsExceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholdersStrong partnership skills across Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, and OperationsAbility to move quickly, prioritize effectively, and operate with resourcefulness in ambiguous environmentsExperience writing product specs, user stories, and translating business needs into product executionLocation RequirementsWhile we are looking for the best talent globally, the ideal candidate will be based in the San Francisco Bay Area to collaborate closely with our HQ.
