Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position providing critical care respiratory services.
Details
- Provides respiratory care across various critical care units, including adult and pediatric emergency room settings
- Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 13-week assignment
- Utilizes ventilator management, arterial blood gases, CPAP/BIPAP, oxygen therapy, CPT, and aerosolized medications
- Uses computerized documentation system
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the NBRC required
- Active Maryland state license required if applicable
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- BLS certification via AHA required
- ACLS certification required
- Comparable facility size experience required based on assigned facility bed count
Additional Information
- Participates in CPR/code team response
- Evaluates patients with respiratory illness and provides direct treatment
- Accepts local candidates at the same pay rate for most facilities
- Facilities with 60+ mile radius restrictions do not allow local candidates
