Then please consider joining our incredible team!Connecting People with PossibilitiesMission: Bridgewell inspires hope and empowers people experiencing life challenges to achieve their fullest potential.Summary: The Program Supervisor assists the Assistant Director of Independent Living with oversight of the daily operation of the Individual Supports program for individuals with disabilities. Responsibilities include supervision of staff, developing, implementing and supervising trainings, and case management requirements of individuals. They will provide direct care support as needed and additional coordination of program duties as requested. Specialized training will be provided to enhance supervision or interventions designed to address multiple disabilities which may include behavioral supports or enhanced medical care. Staff will develop, implement and supervise trainings, case management requirements of individuals, and participation in general dutiesSchedule: Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:00PM (40 Hours) (On-call rotation is required for this position.)Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Assist the Assistant Director of Independent Living with supervision of direct care staff, including conducting supervision meetings, coaching and mentoring for skill development.Provide interim coverage during the absence of the Assistant Director of Independent Living as directed by and with the support of the Director of Independent Living or any other interim member of program management assigned to the facility.Provide leadership to staff to create a cohesive team environment. Communicate with on call and management staff any concerns or issues that arise related to the care of individuals, staffing concerns or general needs of the program in the absence of an on-site manager.Ensure that services and documentation are maintained according to DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF and all applicable regulatory standards as well as Bridgewell's policies and procedures.Oversee all medical, clinical and financial needs of the individuals by identifying needs and securing appropriate services as needed.Transport individuals as needed to and from medical, recreational and other activities outside the program.Monitor petty cash and maintain spending within allowed budgetary limitsAssists with supervising and managing all data collection.Maintain communication and collaborative relationships with DDS and other outside vendors.Maintain sites according to DDS, CARF and agency standards.Create opportunities and provide support to individuals in making decisions to develop their skills and foster independence.Maintain appropriate certifications (i.e. First Aid, CPR, OSHA, Fire Safety, Human Rights, PABC, etc.) and ensure that all staff maintains their certifications.Other duties as assigned.Required Education/Experience:1. Bachelor's Degree is preferred OR2. Associate's degree with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar direct care role. OR3. High school diploma with a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a similar direct care role.4. Previous experience in a similar supervisor/leadership role will be highly preferred.5. Working experience in understanding the clinical needs of the people served is required.6. Must have a working understanding of ASD population.7. A valid US driver's license and one year of driving experience is required Knowledge/Skills: Ability to assist in supervising staff to performance standardsExcellent organizational and problem solving skills.Valid driver's license and one year of driving experience.Excellent and verbal communications skills. Computer literacy to include ability to proficiently use Microsoft products and web based applications supported by the agency.
