Senior DevOps Engineer

OneChronos is seeking a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to drive the deployment, automation, and scaling of our periodic auction matching infrastructure. You will work across on-premise and cloud environments, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure that supports our mission‑critical systems. This role requires deep expertise in infrastructure automation and workflow orchestration, with the ability to evaluate and implement the best tools and technologies for our needs. While we are open to innovation, we currently utilize Ansible, Terraform, and Temporal, and familiarity with these is required. What You’ll Do Design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure for both on‑premise and cloud environments Implement and maintain workflow orchestration to ensure reliability and fault tolerance Ensure high availability and performance of systems through monitoring, alerting, and automation. Collaborate with software engineering teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the development lifecycle Maintain compliance and security best practices for infrastructure Who You Are You have 8+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience and know your way around the full infrastructure lifecycle You're fluent in vendor‑neutral IaC tools like Ansible, Terraform, and Temporal, and reach for the right one without much deliberation Infrastructure automation and orchestration are where you do your best work – you've built it, broken it, and made it better You have a solid grasp of networking fundamentals and know how the pieces connect beneath the surface You're equally comfortable in on‑premise and cloud environments and have real opinions about both Linux systems administration is second nature to you You have a good eye for tooling – you can assess what's out there, make a clear recommendation, and follow through on implementation You thrive in fast‑paced, highly technical environments and bring a calm, structured approach to complex problems Compensation Base salary range: $150,000 to $200,000, plus potential bonus and ownership interest. #J-18808-Ljbffr OneChronos
