Overview Registered Nurse - PCU (Travel) – Mattoon, Illinois. Assignment begins 06/15/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,070 to $2,148 for 36 guaranteed hours. Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,070–$2,148 per week Guaranteed hours: 36 per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Start date: 06/15/2026 Setting: hospital-based PCU unit in Mattoon, IL On-call: No Weekend requirements: Every other weekend Responsibilities Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care for PCU patients Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the assigned shift Monitor patient conditions; administer medications and therapies per policy; ensure safety and infection control Document care in the electronic health record; ensure regulatory and quality standards are met Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and discharge planning Educate patients and families about diagnosis, medications, and post-discharge care Requirements Active Illinois RN license (Nursys must show Active IL License) ACLS (AHA) required within 30 days of start BLS (AHA) required Minimum 3 years PCU experience Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of the assignment facility 2 supervisory reference forms completed with dates employed Note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
