About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer to join their team as a strategic partner. The CFO will be responsible for a wide range of financial activities, including leading financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, as well as ensuring GAAP compliance and developing the financial infrastructure. This role is pivotal in preparing the company for a future sale process and requires a hands-on finance executive with a deep understanding of field-based service operations. Key priorities for the CFO include owning financial planning, partnering with the CEO on strategic initiatives, and overseeing all financial reporting and compliance. The ideal candidate for this CFO position at the company will have a background in a blue-collar field services business and experience with companies in the $50M–$500M revenue range. Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, GAAP reporting, and internal controls are essential, as is a proven track record in supporting acquisitions, integrations, and process improvement. The CFO should be a cost-conscious, operationally engaged leader with excellent Excel and financial modeling skills. While not mandatory, a CPA, master's degree, sell-side transaction experience, or IT/systems knowledge is considered a plus. The role demands a leader who can build scalable finance processes, identify cost savings, and lead the company in its sale-readiness efforts.
