Production Supervisor

At Danone, manufacturing premium beverage products and optimizing supply chain efficiency drives our plant team's success. We are currently looking to hire a Production Supervisor based in Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for all aspects of leading and managing the night shift production team. Incumbents are responsible for ensuring that daily, weekly, and monthly production KPIs are met for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, Nature and Growth. This is a complex, fast-paced beverage production environment where strategic leadership directly impacts operational excellence and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Cultivate a high-performance team through comprehensive training, personalized coaching, and meaningful recognition that empowers employee growth and success.
• Ensure that set standards are adhered to at all times with regard to Safety and Quality.
• Lead the team by ensuring daily focus on SQCDMN (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Mobilization, Nature).
• Monitor the performance and corrective actions for the Night shift production team, ensuring that information boards are updated. Review long-term data trends and facilitate remedial activities using CI methodologies to determine root cause and restoration.
• Ensure that corrective measures are complete for all areas within the production department, for assigned shift.
• Strategically develop staffing and scheduling plans that optimize team performance, eliminate operational bottlenecks, and ensure consistent, reliable delivery of our high-quality products.
• Champion the deployment of business systems.
• Lead/facilitate/participate in continuous improvement events.
• Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, keeping teams updated regarding issues affecting performance.
• Lead the team and manage any employee relation matters, with guidance sought from HR.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience:

• You have a high school diploma or GED, required. A bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related field is preferred.
• You are a seasoned people leader and have at least 3 years of supervisory experience within a food/beverage or other high speed CPG manufacturing environment, required. Prior experience within beverage processing is preferred.
• You have knowledge with lean manufacturing / continuous improvement principles, such as IWS, TPM, or six sigma, required.
• A combination of manufacturing education, professional experience, or specialized training that demonstrates advanced knowledge, technical skills, and operational leadership abilities is acceptable.

• You have clear and concise verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to multitask.
• You have strong leadership skills and have demonstrated the ability to build strong, effective teams.
• You have the ability to mentor and develop productive staff and the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate.
• Proficiency with the use of computer programs, or ability to quickly learn, including MS Office programs including Outlook and Excel, and Smartsheets.
