Sr Director IT, S4 Delivery

Senior IT Director – Phoenix, AZ Honeywell is recruiting a senior IT director to lead the enterprise SAP S/4HANA transformation strategy for a multi‑billion‑dollar Aerospace & Defense business. The role will align technology investment with growth, margin expansion, and operational resilience, and will serve as the primary interface for business leaders to define requirements and drive the delivery of growth and productivity solutions. Responsibilities Develop and implement IT strategies that align with Honeywell’s business goals and drive significant business growth, with a strong emphasis on innovation, AI, and generative AI. Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance online sales channels and customer engagement. Oversee the development, deployment, and management of S4/HANA platforms, ensuring seamless integration with existing business systems and data analytics tools. Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and sales teams to grow online sales and enhance customer experience while maintaining compliance and cyber‑security. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of IT leaders, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. Work closely with senior management and other departments to identify and meet their IT needs, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across business units. Manage IT budgets for S4/HANA initiatives and provide regular reports on performance, challenges, and achievements to senior management. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, AI, or a related field. Minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in project management. Experience leading S4/HANA transformations. Desired Skills Agile experience. Leadership experience in multiple IT, engineering, or business functional areas. Excellent communication and executive presence. Strong business acumen and ability to translate technology into business value. Proven ability to deliver complex solutions in a matrixed environment.
