Contract | Days (Varied Start Times Available) | 8-, 10-, and 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate and/or scrub (scrubbing is a plus, not required) across a high-volume OR environment handling 35–45 cases per day across 9 ORs, one procedure room, and one hybrid room
• Support a broad range of surgical specialties including general, ENT, eyes, ortho, robotics (Da Vinci and Rosa), neuro spine, vascular, trauma, and select pediatric cases — all cases except CVOR and L&D/C-sections
• Demonstrate proficiency passing arms in and out for robotic-assisted surgery (required)
• Participate in on-call rotation: one weeknight on-call (7p–7a) per rotation cycle and one weekend 24-hour on-call shift (7a–7p) per month, with a 30-minute call response time required
• Evening and night shift RNs must be comfortable serving as the sole RN on the unit alongside two surgical techs
• Float to outpatient surgery as needed; OR staff are responsible for room turnover

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2–3 years of Operating Room experience
• 2–3 previous travel assignments required
• Ortho experience required
• Hands-on robotics experience — must have experience passing arms in and out — required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• Scrub experience preferred
• Broad multi-specialty OR experience preferred, particularly for evening, night, and weekend shifts
• Comfort working independently as the sole RN on shift with surgical tech support
