Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to support high-volume project bidding and quoting in a rapidly growing data center infrastructure company. This role involves estimating and quoting large-scale projects in manufacturing or construction environments, analyzing drawings to determine dimensions, product requirements, labor, materials, and transportation costs, and understanding direct costs and overhead.

Responsibilities:

• Estimate and quote high-volume projects in a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Analyze drawings to determine dimensions, product requirements, labor, materials, and transportation costs.
• Understand and calculate direct costs and overhead.
• Work cross-functionally with the owner, dispatch/drivers, accounting, engineers, and project managers.
• Perform regular data entry and tracking in Excel and similar systems.
• Assist with bidding strategy to ensure competitive, accurate quotes.
• Support urgent needs, including occasional after-hours communication.

Essential Skills:

• 4+ years of estimating and quoting experience in manufacturing or construction.
• Strong understanding of cost structures (direct vs. overhead).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints.
• Proficiency in Excel and data entry systems.
• Strong communication and team coordination skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and detail-oriented.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience with software such as AutoCAD, CAD, and SolidWorks.
• Knowledge of construction management, project management, pricing, design, and budgeting.

Work Environment:

The work environment consists of a 200,000 square ft manufacturing facility that is not climate-controlled and can be dusty and dirty. Concrete is being poured as trucks pull into the bays currently, until new machines are installed. The company is very big on safety and its importance, with about 50 employees on the floor currently and plans to hire up to 80 over the next three months.

This is a Permanent position based out of Massillon, OH.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Massillon,OH.
