We are hiring for a full-time Estimating Coordinator to work on site in our Benicia, CA office. The Estimating Coordinator will be responsible for administering the bid pipeline, tracking deadlines, managing incoming RFPs and ensuring all submission criteria are strictly met. Join one of the largest construction firms in the country.Responsibilities:Perform and log regular Nationwide Bid Searches and present potential projects for bid; download new Project Plans & SpecsAble to demonstrate some technical understanding of construction biddingReview plans and specifications for required bid dataMaintain company bid list and ensure all pre-bid tasks are completedRequest bid bonds and ensure they're received timely and correctlyDraft paper bid documents and prepare for submittalRun Post-Bid Estimating Reports in our Estimating softwareMaintain detailed historical bidding dataLocate and track potential upcoming projectsQualifications:High School diploma or equivalent required2+ years of relevant industry work experience and 1+ years in an office environment, preferredValid driver's license2+ yearsYou must be authorized to work in the U.S. both now and in the future without company sponsorship.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Good organizational and time management skills, analyze data and information to make strong decisionsExcellent computer skills including advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skillsAdvanced website search skillsProficiency with Google EarthHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailGreat communication skills (both verbal and written)Enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task and coordinate/complete your projects successfully are all essential to this jobExperience with Bidding Software such as HCSS Heavy Bid is highly desired but not requiredWhat's in it for you:Financial Wellbeing:Compensation $24.04 - $33.65 /hour, commensurate with experience.
